I made a 2 hour rebuild video teaching Framer Motion and TailwindCSS

Hey there!

I thought I'd send out a small newsletter update, while I'm sitting here on Saturday morning, drinking my espresso and finishing up the very last exercise of the next Framer Motion course module.

Last week I released a new video on YouTube, and it's such a good one that I had to send out a newsletter about it!

If you're around for long enough, you might remember my Linear rebuild video series. We rebuilt almost the whole Linear homepage 🤯

Since I enjoyed making that series so much, I decided last week it was time for another rebuild! This time we'll add Framer Motion in the mix too!

Rebuilding the Apple TV+ site with Framer Motion and TailwindCSS

In last week's video I rebuilt a big part of the Apple TV+ page, which is full super cool (impossible?!) scroll animations. We'll be setting up the website from scratch, styling everything with Tailwind (and teaching you some cool CSS tricks along the way). Finally we bring it to life with Framer Motion.

Enough talking about what I built, just go check the video if you haven't yet. It's a good one! And over 2 hours long 😉

Update on the Framer Motion course

The past weeks I've also worked on the next module for the Framer Motion course. That module will be all about responsiveness! Today I'm writing the last exercise of this module. Recording is then planned for next week 🙏

Many people blasted through the first modules of the course and were so excited they asked weekly when the next modules drop! Rest assured, we're really close now!

After the responsive modules there are two more big exciting modules coming, scroll animations and layout animations.

Once those modules are done, it's finally time for some really fun exercises. Trust me, I had to hold off by making simpler exercises early in the course, because we only knew a few APIs. I have some really great exercises lined up for you!

Wishing you all a great weekend!
Expect another update from me soon,

— Jeroen.
